Hardwired Security Systems
A hardwired system connects all devices in your home through a network of wires covered within the walls to the main control panel (i.e., doors, glass break detectors, and keypad alarms). Any wireless devices can be added as additional modules in the future (i.e., surveillance cameras, thermostat control, Total Connect App control).

Wireless Security Systems
A wireless system has one main hardwired keypad location that wirelessly connects to each device in your home (i.e., doors, glass break detectors, sensor/motion detectors, and keypad alarms). This newer technology only requires power to the main touch panel and uses battery powered devices around the home. The wireless connectivity from the touch panel to devices allows for the addition of wireless products without adding modules (i.e., surveillance cameras, thermostat control, Total Connect App control).

Total Connect App
“Control your home from the palm of your hand.” The Total Connect App allows communication between your smartphone and security system from your mobile device, so you don’t have to be at home to stay in-the-know.

Alarm monitoring is quick and provides detailed communication between your home security system, and the central station of your security provider. Your control panel registers an emergency event and sends a signal to the central monitoring station, where the appropriate authorities are notified and sent to your home.

We recommend monthly testing of your alarm. Call NMC at 844.216.3973 to place the system on test. Make sure you have your password to do this. Once placed on test, arm your system and trigger an alarm. After the siren sounds, wait about 30 seconds, then disarm. Call NMC back to verify the signal was received. You will be asked to provide your password again. It is your responsibility to make sure your system is in good working order.
Please contact the Sellhorst Office at sales@sellhorst.com or call 402.504.9527 between 8am–5pm. If you need emergency assistance after hours, contact NMC at 844.216.3973, and you will be put in contact with our on-call technician.
